Tavon Austin is one of those names that guys between the age of like 30-45 will know forever. You say those words, you think of his highlight video. His video was seen on all sorts of computers, usually with a group of guys huddling around it going nuts. He was must watch TV at West Virginia which is why he was a top-10 pick in the NFL Draft. There are few like him, guys with a mixtape/highlight video that you can say and immediately picture. I'm talking guys like Seventh Woods, Aquille Carr, Reggie Bush, Noel Devine, Wondergirl Carly. You get the point.

Still remember sitting around with friends just waiting for him to touch the ball and see what happened. Still remember that game against Oklahoma with nearly 600 total yards being one of the best individual performances I've seen. That's what Tavon Austin did. He made friends turn on West Virginia and watch with no real rooting interest. You jus wanted to see Tavon Austin do cool shit and cool shit he did. 

Was he a legend in the NFL? Of course not. But he's a name that we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. He was damn good too at West Virginia, it wasn't just one play and move on. You spent the whole game watching Tavon Austin. So shout out him for giving us hours of entertainment because of one video. One hell of a legacy to have as he heads into retirement.
